Ibrahim, Abraham

The fourteenth surah of the Qur'an, 52 ayahs, revealed in Makkah. At its heart is Ibrahim's prayer for Makkah.

The good tree: a date palm, its root firm and its branches in the sky (14:24–25)

Have you not seen how Allah gives an example? A good word is like a good tree: its root is firm and its branches are in the sky. (14:24)
